BOTS or BOSS...

here is what my new post is all about..

WHAT DO YOU THINK..??
should bots have ability to think and take thier own decision..??

Well.. at some point ints true. we get an optimum result of it. example:
1. Space Research
2. War and Weapon
3. Toxic areas
4. mine detection
5. cyborgs
6. house keeping robots for baby sitting and patients

well on the other hand we do have some minus. example:
1. if they become so obidient, they may kill someone if orders are given
2. what if they fallin love..?? after all they have a human thinking.
3. if they take thier own decision, and disobey its master..

Well.. we are the CREATERS.. so its better to be in a safer side.. make robots but not equivalent to humans...

have a look in my video..http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cd0DeEB2HTw

you may get some idea what i mean..

pls do comment..

Cyborg...

Cybermetics is the interdisciplinary study of the structure of the regular system. Cyborgs are originated from the concept of cybernetics, which is referred as a mixture of both organism and the technology. The whole process of becoming a cyborg is known as Cybernation.

CYBORG:
CYBORG is a compound word derived from Cybermetics and organism is a term coined by Manfred Clynes in 1960 to describe the need for mankind artificially. Human being with a bodily functions aided of controlled by technological devices such as oxygen tank, artificial heart valve of insulin pump.
CYBORG can be used to characterize anyone who relies on a computer to complete his or her daily work. A CYBORG is a cybernetics organism part human-part machine. When an organism is half human and half machine then we call them CYBORG.
A human who has certain physiological processes aided or controlled by mechanical or electronic devices. A human being whose body has been taken over in whole or in part by electromechanical devices; "a cyborg is a cybernetic organism"

WHAT HAPPENS IF A MAN IS MERGED WITH THE COMPUTER?
This question is being answered by the living example Professor Kevin Warwick and his team at the department of Cybernetics.
On Monday 24th August 1998, at 4:00pm, Professor Kevin Warwick underwent an operation to surgically implant a silicon chip transponder in his forearm with a help of local anesthesia. This experiment allowed a computer to monitor Kevin Warwick as he moved through halls and offices of the Department of Cybernetics at the University of Reading, using a unique identifying signal emitted by the implanted chip. He could operate doors, lights, heaters and other computers without lifting a finger.
The systems allowed Warwick to connect electronic devices directly to his body. He could send signals through his nervous system to control various devices. He even had doctors wire his nervous system to his wife's nervous system. Whenever his wife closed her hand into a fist, Warwick would receive nervous system impulses. This experiment proved that with the right hardware, two humans could communicate telegraphically through physical signals converted into nervous system impulses. For all these operations  we should have the COMPUTER-BRAIN INTERFACE.

COMPUTER-BRAIN INTERFACE:
To this type of communication is developing a robust COMPUTER BRAIN INTERFACE. We will need computers to detect, interpret and send our thoughts through a network to the proper recipient. Computers will also receive, decode and deliver thoughts to the person on the other end of the communication. Strictly speaking, we won't be able to communicate with only our minds. We will still depend upon computers to do most of the work.

But this technology is revolutioning the entire world. People unable to speak could communicate just as clearly as those who can talk. Patients who are locked in that are paralyzed and unable to have a conversation through other it means they would be able to send signals electronically to talk with doctors and loved ones. Soldiers could send information silently as they complete missions.

ADVANTAGES OF CYBORGS:

Some of the best advantages of the cyborgs are as follows

  • prolongs life
  • Enables one to lead a normal life
  • Gives a part of the body back
  • Improves the quality of life

DISADVANTAGE OF CYBORGS:
Some of the most common disadvantages of the cyborgs are discussed below
  • ·Training is needed for doctors
  • They are all expensive
  • Psychological problem
  • Feeling ‘different’ to everyone else
  • The risk of rejection/infection
  • Pain during operation

But we have a remedy..

ROBOTIC SURGERY:
There are many advantages are noticed while the surgery is being carried out by the robots and not by the surgeons. Those advantages have been discussed below.
·        Robotic surgery to the patient decreases the pain of the patient and scaring.
·        Due to the small and precise cuttings the patient’s hospital stay is greatly reduced.
·        Risk of infection and the complications decreases as the incision size decreases.
·        Since the surgeries will last for several hours the surgeons will often get tired and have strain in their eyes it will also be reduced if the surgeries are carried out by the robotics.
·        The robotic equipment is capable of making accurate incisions that cause the least blood loss.

·        Surgeries can be completed in the stipulated time.

·        Medications like anesthesia can be reduced and other dangers like coma can be avoided.

TISSUE CULTURE USING STEM CELLS:
Stem cells can be preserved during the time of delivery. They are taken from the blood of the umbilical cord which acts as a major connection between the child and the mother. This blood should be preserved for the culturing of the tissues. Tissues which are being cultured by this method will not have rejection or the infection over the individuals since it has been taken from their own blood stem cells. Mother can also use the same stem cells for the regeneration of the tissues.
The person who does not have their stem cells can undergo the tissue generation with the help of their bone marrow. Their bone marrow tissues are being taken and it is cultured for the tissues which are needed for the area which is being damaged. Since taking bone marrow is a difficult task now the same tissue culture is being carried out with the wisdom teeth.

If this tissue culture is being implemented in the cyborg surely the disadvantage of the rejection and the infection will be totally eradicated for sure.

I hope and wish this basic info will have help guys to think something different...

The Initiation

Hi. I am ankur. and i assure that u ll get a glance of my mind here.... i welcome all those who can think in a different way... being different always makes u unique in field... ur ideas are most welcome.. thanx...
